Service description

AutoSortPro (“we,” “us,” “our,” the “Application,” or the “Service”) provides AI-powered file analysis and organization services with integration capabilities for note-taking applications such as Obsidian.

Acceptance of terms

By accessing, installing, or using AutoSortPro, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

User obligations

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use AutoSortPro.
  • You must ensure that uploaded content complies with applicable laws and does not infringe third-party rights.
  • You must not upload sensitive or confidential content that you do not want transmitted to an AI model provider such as OpenAI.
  • You must keep login credentials secure and notify us of unauthorized access.
  • You must not use AutoSortPro or others’ content for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.
  • You must not reverse engineer, resell, or otherwise exploit AutoSortPro.
  • You must not disrupt or attempt unauthorized access to the Service or related systems.
  • You must comply with third-party model providers’ terms and content restrictions.
  • Failure to meet these obligations may result in termination without a refund.
  • You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AutoSortPro and its affiliates, employees, and agents from claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your content, or a violation of these terms.

Pricing and payments

  • We use third parties, such as Stripe, to process credit card payments. We limit information sharing to what is required for those services and our business administration and analysis. We do not sell your information.
  • You will be notified if prices change. Changes affect only future bills, and you may cancel before they take effect.
  • Refunds are subject to our Refund Policy.

Intellectual property and ownership of files

  • You retain ownership of all files you share with us.
  • By using AutoSortPro, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process files solely for categorization and integrations you request.
  • You agree to the terms of third-party model providers and note-taking applications to which you send files.
  • You accept responsibility for the files you provide and indemnify AutoSortPro for actions using the Service that violate law or cause damage.
  • We retain all rights in our intellectual property, including the application.

Limitation of liability

AI accuracy is not guaranteed

The Service uses third-party AI models for file categorization. These models may produce incorrect or unexpected results. AutoSortPro is not liable for errors or consequences arising from AI processing. Review and validate outputs; do not rely solely on the Service for critical or sensitive tasks.

Third-party integrations

AutoSortPro works with third-party note-taking applications and other vendors. We cannot control or predict their performance or continued compatibility. AutoSortPro is not responsible for a third party’s action or inaction that affects your use of the Service, credits, or access to processed files. This includes AI providers, upload and storage providers such as AWS, and note-taking services. You must independently agree to third-party terms. AutoSortPro does not mediate disputes with third parties.

No guarantee of uptime

We strive for reliable service but are not liable for downtime or inability to access AutoSortPro. The Service may be unavailable for maintenance, upgrades, or other reasons.

Your duty to back up files

AutoSortPro does not maintain permanent backups. You are responsible for copies of original files and outputs. AutoSortPro is not liable for data loss from user actions, hardware failures, application failures, or other events.

Data security

We use commercially reasonable measures to protect data. No system is completely secure, and your device and network remain your responsibility. We are not responsible for a security failure in our systems or those of third parties. You understand that data will be transmitted and stored in locations of our choice.

No warranty

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties.

Termination; data retention and deletion

Our termination of your account

We may terminate your account for any or no reason, including failure to follow the User Obligations above.

If we terminate your account and you did not violate those obligations—including if AutoSortPro ceases operation—we will provide an opportunity to export your files and processing work for at least 30 days after termination. For the current shutdown, app access ends September 10, 2026, and users may request an export by emailing support through October 10, 2026.

Your termination of your account

You may terminate your account at any time in accordance with our Refund Policy.

You may delete files and AutoSortPro data by deleting the application and emailing [email protected] to request deletion, subject to applicable laws such as CCPA and GDPR.

Changes to terms

If these terms are updated, we will notify you through email or an in-app notification. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Severability

If a provision is found invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.

Governing law

Disputes arising from these terms will be resolved through binding arbitration under American Arbitration Association rules. Arbitration will take place in New Hampshire, and the arbitrator’s decision will be final and binding.
